This concern troll has done a terrible job with his diary about Iraq. Such a terrible job that, were we to go back to the beginning, knowing what we know now, I would have made many more snarky comments thus earning coveted TU status, so I could throw a precious donut his way.
For allowing such incompetency, the DailyKos community should suffer, and they have suffered. But the mistakes of Kossacks is is no reason to allow the lurkers to suffer. Their internets is a mess right now, and our inability to provide them with coherent diaries is why. To leave them in that mess to wade through the flame wars and appease the trolls is cowardly and wrong.
We are a great blog, a rich blog, and a blog that has sacrificed relatively nothing in this flame war that has cost the lurkers almost everything. To withdraw our troll ratings while there is still any chance for banning is a disservice to the interests of both lurkers and, in the long term, the Kossacks too.
I realize the importance of banning these concern trolls posting here on DKos. Many here do not. I realize my position is not popular here, so I have tried to take the time to fully flesh out the argument. Please think.
In Defense of Concern Trolls
Concern Trolls' Motives
Concern Trolls are to be trusted more than their opponents. They support the war in Iraq, and, furthermore, they publicly support more troops. Both of these are extremely unpopular positions. The only reason they would support them is because they genuinely believe them the best course of action for this blog. As to their opponents, they are merely following polls, moving with the herd, so to speak, not to mention settling grudges, as many Kossacks are very upset over the Ratings Wars.
More lengthy incoherent diaries is just part of Concern Trolls' solution
Concern Troll - "To turn around the crisis we need to write more incoherent diaries while we also train more freepers to type with one hand and strengthen the "moderate" political forces in the left-wing blogosphere."
Concern Troll - "The addition of more troll diaries must be linked to a comprehensive new snack-food, soda, and political propaganda strategy that provides security for the internets so that literacy training of wingnuts and the development of a authoritarian blogosphere can move forward."
However, more trolls remains an integral part nonetheless
What Incoherency Means
Concern Troll - "On this point, let there be no doubt: If DailyKos descends into full-scale civil war, it will be a tremendous battlefield victory for Freeperville and Little Green Snotballs. DailyKos is the central front in the global and regional war against intelligent life."
The people waiting for us to leave their recipes are not bloggers fighting for their liberties, as were we were in our own revolutionary war, nor members of a community website fighting for the right of self-abuse, as were the Pajamahadeen. They are kidnappers and criminals and foreign moonbats. If we leave Iraq, they, and their supporters will be the ones to fill the power vacuum with cheeto crumbs. Not only will the situation indubitably germinate larger problems down the road, such as rug mold, mental instability, and threats to cheeto/soda flows (and consequently our economy), but all those who have supported us in the internets, all those who dared to dream of a better, more better, and more just better tomorrow, will flee or perish.

Well honestly, it's getting late and I'm afraid I can't possibly match that diary's complete lack of coherency and logic which goes on ad nauseum. Not to mention the grammatical and formatting errors. Looking back on some other diaries by this poster, there is so much fodder for satire it cries out for someone with far more comedic talent than I possess to do it justice. Goodnight!
